Installing the USB drivers
In order to install USB interface, you need to have the Artist software
first installed. Download or use the CD to install the artist.msi file,
then connect the USB interface to your PC, this can even be while it is
switched on. Your computer will automatically detect the new device and
you will be prompted to load a driver for it (via a Windows wizard). The
LED's on the unit will also start flashing, indicating that the unit is
working.
If you use Windows XP, you will find this type of wizard :

Click on the install from a specified location and browse to the
following C:\program files\Artist
Windows should now find the driver to install (called suidi.inf)
The following window may then appear

Click 'Continue anyway' to complete the driver installation

Click Finish, the USB box is now installed and you may now proceed to
launch Artist, whereupon it will have a DMX output line now added. This
can be checked in the resource manager window
